UN|REAL

UN|REAL  tells a narrative about identity and misrepresentation. The film explores identity and how it derives from the normalcy of everyday experience. It is through the reinforcement of uniformity that individual identity is reduced to an ingenuine representation of self. By celebrating everyday normalcy, conventions are broken, authentic voices are heard, and individualistic identities are shown.

This experimental film serves to depict the multifaceted nature of identity with the added notion of perception. Interviews, stylised scenes and raw imagery coalesce to portray the intricacy of representation. By questioning how identity and expression manifests through personal fashioning choices, both the real and unreal self has been captured.
