“Eclectic Cohesion” captures the unity between differing ideologies, styles and experiences that exist within people’s lives. The collection draws inspiration from and includes elements of design, fabrication and storytelling from a diverse array of origins. The designs are intended to encapsulate the truly holistic and eclectic significance of dressing where heterogeneous components unite to represent and express one’s self. Through the act of dressing, one becomes a different person or their true person is revealed. As more elements are added to the body through dressing, much like when new experiences are encountered in life, change, growth, confidence and expression ensues. The choices of dress (verb) reveal the journey of one’s self. This eclectic expression tells a story about the person who embodies the garments.
Eclectic Cohesion is a representation of  the diverse features that are joined together as a presentation of multifaceted people and ideologies. As an extension of this, there is a story behind every aspect, whether it be a fleeting thought, valued opinion or everyday experience that results in this form of intrinsic self-expression.
